Nice place! Morpeth really does need an electrical retailer like Argos or a currys. There is nothing here and you have to go to Ashington, Blyth, or Cramlington to get any good choice of electricals.

What a pleasure it is to have a mix of local businesses and high-end high street outlets. Well done on attracting East, but there is a need for a good children's outfitter, too.

why should we not have the likes of Wilkinsons Argos etc
people who are against them are nor true Morpethians.
we are not snobs. we would welcome these shops into our town.

My family likes Sandersons Arcade and shops there regularly. However there is a lack of variation in the present store line up being mostly mid range deisigner shops. For the arcade to appeal to a wider range of shoppers, we need a wider range of shops. How about trying to attract an electrical retailer such as Currys Digital, Comet etc. Or more wide ranging fashion shops such as Next, River Island, Top Shop etc.

Please resist inviting Wilkinsons, Primark etc to Morpeth. We appreciate it will appeal to some but we are building up a quality retail centre and can well do without these shops.

the arcade is great but like people are saying where is NEXT ?? im glad primark argos and wilkinsons are not in the arcade as they would bring the area down you can get everything you need at a reasonable price i enjoy shopping in morpeth now and can now find something to wear that isnt too dressy and i dont have to go else were i would however suggest more parking and cheaper parking!

The new shopping centre is wonderful, but why is there none of the cheaper shops such as, Argos or Wilkinsons or indeed Primark

I think the arcade is lovely but I was very sorry to see no NEXT -. As Morpeth is short on childrens clothes shops-affordable ones that is - a childrens Next would have been brilliant.,

The new Sanderson Arcade is very nice - however I agree with another comment - I would like to have a Next store in Morpeth.

I visited Sanderson Arcade for the first time yesterday. I have always been a big fan of Morpeth as it oozes character and charm, however the old Sanderson Arcade had become decrepid and unsightly.
How wonderful to see this beautiful new shopping centre, the quality and architecture is fabulous and it is so classy. The Beadles look super. Delighted that I don't have to go to Silverlink or the Metrocentre for M&S, Clarks or New Look. I had a fantastic afternoon shopping followed by a lovely coffee and panini at Central Bean.
My only suggestion would be that a NEXT would be fabulous for Morpeth and also my son would love a sports shop.
Well done to all - I will be back soon.
