Bridal Idol Couple Win Their Dream Wedding

Victoria Longstaff and Lee Holmes have won their dream wedding in the Real Radio Competition backed by Morpeth’s  Sanderson Arcade.

And everyone at the Arcade is sending a big congratulations to the couple who after an 11 year engagement can finally look forward to the big day they’ve always wanted.

Victoria, 32,  and Lee, 34, joined hundreds of hopefuls who entered the competition which reached it's climax last week with the remaining couples battling it out for the top prize in a series of challenges.

The couple, from Washington, have won everything to make their day perfect – from the cake to the flowers, cars and bridal suite. Their dream wedding will take place in the idyllic setting of the Macdonald Linden Hall.

Sanderson Arcade Centre Manager Debbie Anderson, was one of the judges in the competition and the Arcade hosted a roadshow when the couples faced "Mr and Mrs" style challenges.

The competition has had thousands of Real Radio listeners gripped as one couple was knocked out every day last week.

Debbie said: “This has been a great competition to be involved with though it was awful having to say goodbye to a couple every morning last week. Everyone at the Arcade sends their congratulations to Victoria and Lee and we hope they have a fantastic day! What a great prize.”
