Morpeth Gathering - A Great Success

This year's Morpeth Gathering proved to be a great success with organisers using the new Sanderson Arcade for the first time for this unique annual event.

Sanderson Arcade sponsored the event which took place on the 9th to the 11th of April - the Arcade is also sponsoring this year's Fair Day which takes place on June 13th.

At last year's Gathering the Arcade was still a building site but this year organisers could use the spaces around the arcade - particularly the piazza area - for displays and performances which proved to be a hit with shoppers and visitors to the town.

Centre Manager Debbie Anderson said: "We are very much part of the town and it is great to support events like this one that bring visitors into Morpeth, we are also looking forward to supporting Fair Day again this year."
