All change at Sanderson Arcade as staff gear up for a busy Springtime !

There are some exciting changes in store at Sanderson Arcade as the Morpeth shopping centre gets ready for a hectic spring time.

JoJo Maman Bebe and Monsoon are both due to open at the town centre Arcade in March - they’re currently fitting out their new stores in the development’s phase two which has been built on the site of the former Comrades Club.

And the jeweller’s Facets, the sister store to The Jewellers Guild who are based at the Bridge Street entrance to the Arcade, are also on the move and relocating to a currently empty unit at the Market Place in Morpeth.

With two further retailers due to be announced soon staff at the centre are gearing up for a busy few weeks!

Debbie Anderson, Centre Manager, said: “We are delighted that Facets are staying in the town and we wish the company all the best with their move. We can’t announce at this stage who is moving into their unit along the Arcade but watch this space !

“We are looking forward to a very busy few months with the opening of Monsoon and JoJos who are fantastic additions to our line up here at the Arcade.”

Facets is moving to the Old Sweet Shop premises which has been fitted out ready for the move. The unit on the Market Place is owned by Facets and The Jeweller’s Guild and became available after the decision was taken to close it down as a newsagent and sweet shop earlier this year.

Keith Peters, whose family run Facets and The Jewellers Guild, said: “We love being part of Sanderson Arcade and the Jewellers Guild is proud the be based here, but as we own the premises at the Market Place it obviously makes sense to move Facets there and continue to trade with a second store in Morpeth.”

Facets is due to move later this month, opening dates for JoJo Maman Bebe and Monsoon will be announced soon.
