Corbridge Larder Celebrates New Morpeth Store !

Morpeth’s newest deli and coffee shop – The Corbridge Larder – is celebrating its official opening on Friday with a visit from the town’s Mayor and the Morpeth Gadgie.

The Corbridge Larder already has a reputation in the North East for being a food lovers’ paradise and the company selected Morpeth’s Sanderson Arcade as the ideal location for a second delicatessen and coffee shop which opened earlier this summer.

The team at The Larder are now looking forward to their official opening this Friday (August 12th) with plans for a special ribbon cutting and the chance to sample some of the fantastic products available to buy at the new store throughout Friday and Saturday.

The company prides itself on stocking high quality produce from its 25 ft deli counter and 40 seat coffee shop. With more than 2,000 delicious deli items including 100 different cheeses it is already proving popular with the region’s food lovers.

Owner Dave Robinson, said: “We have been delighted with the response we have had to our new deli and coffee shop here in Morpeth. As a company we are passionate about serving and selling good quality food including some of the fantastic local products that we have here in the North East.

“We first decided to take a look at Sanderson Arcade after receiving a twitter message about the centre last year – it’s the perfect place for us and we hope anyone who hasn’t already been to see us here will come along and take a look on Friday or Saturday!”

Centre Manager at Sanderson Arcade, Debbie Anderson, said: “The Corbridge Larder is a really unique place with a fantastic menu and product range and we are delighted the company has opened here at Sanderson Arcade. Having fantastic local companies like The Corbridge Larder is one of the things that makes Sanderson Arcade special.”

The official opening of The Corbridge Larder comes as two other great local companies Just 4 U and Jump Shoes for Kids have also just opened their new stores at The Arcade.
