Jump Shoes for Kids – Now Open at Sanderson Arcade!
Youngsters can step out in style with the launch of a brand new independent childrens’ shoe shop at Morpeth’s Sanderson Arcade.
Jump Shoes for Kids has chosen the award winning arcade to open the company’s second outlet in the North East with a new 890 sq ft unit complementing the existing store at Gosforth High Street.
Jump was first opened in 2006 by sisters Ruth Lovell and Jo Place who decided to launch their own business after becoming frustrated with the limited range of kids shoes available.
Ruth and Jo have six children from three to aged 13 between them and they are passionate about good quality children’s footwear. Their bright and funky shop is already proving a hit with their young customers in Morpeth.
Billed as “The best kids shoe shop in the whole wide world” Jump sells a fantastic range of footwear for both school and weekend wear including Geox, Ricosta, Petasil and Primigi as well as Bobux and Start-rite for those very first baby steps. The new Sanderson Arcade outlet caters for babies and children up to 12 years old.
Ruth said: “Opening a second store has been a big step for us as a small company but Sanderson Arcade is a lovely development and a great location for us. We are really pleased with how we have been received in Morpeth already.
“We know from experience that shoe shopping for children can be frustrating but we want to make it a fun experience in a friendly environment which both the kids and parents can enjoy.”
Sanderson Arcade centre manager, Debbie Anderson said: “The new Jump store looks fantastic and we’ve had some lovely comments from customers. Jump is a great local, independent retailer and a wonderful addition to our line up here at the Arcade.”
Jump joins a host of other high quality independent retailers including Lemon and Lime, The Corbridge Larder, Just 4 U and the new outlet Bar Luga Deli which opens in the autumn.
