Caroline swaps dunking for dipping – all in the name of Charity!

We all love a cup of coffee to get the day going – but Morpeth’s Marks and Spencer Manager Caroline Davison is taking her love of a daily cuppa a step further this Friday.

Like hundreds of people across the region Caroline is hoping to raise money during the MacMillan World’s Biggest Coffee morning which takes place on Friday September 30th in aid of the cancer support charity.

But while hundreds of fundraisers enjoy coffee and cake to boost the charity’s funds  – Caroline will be dunking herself into a massive bath filled with coffee.

Her four hour giant cuppa challenge starts at 10am outside the M&S Foodhall at Sanderson Arcade and Caroline is hoping Friday shoppers will pop along and support her charity bid.

Caroline, a section manager at the Morpeth Marks and Spencer store, said: “I’m really looking forward to it and hope people will support me and help me raise as much money as we can for MacMillan.”

Centre manager at Sanderson Arcade, Debbie Anderson, added: “Caroline is a great sport for doing this for charity and we’ll certainly be supporting her, she might not want a cup of coffee for a while though.”
