Afternoon of family fun at Sanderson Arcade's Charity Fundraising Festival

The team at Sanderson Arcade are holding a special summer family fun day later this month to raise money for their chosen charity.

The centre is hosting a series of events and activities throughout the afternoon on Saturday 19th August from 12pm-3pm to help raise money for the Alan Shearer Foundation.

There’s lots of family entertainment planned including live musical performances across the day from talented local performers including Matt Dunbar and Holly Rees.

Children’s face painting will also be on offer, alongside crafts and a candyfloss machine. A special appearance from the Minions will also feature during the afternoon.

And for the adults the Barluga prosecco bar will also be open, with a donation going to the charity from every glass of bubbly.

Assistant Centre Manager Lottie Thompson said: “We’re looking forward to a fantastic afternoon of family fun with something for everyone to enjoy and we hope lots of families will come along and help us raise money for our chosen charity.”
