Arcade Beadles get the wax treatment to raise charity cash

21 March 2017

The Sanderson Arcade Beadles are putting themselves through a hair raising experience on Saturday (March 25th) – to help raise money for the centre’s chosen charity.

All four Beadles have agreed to let the girls at Pinky’s Nail Boutique wax their legs in a bid to raise as much money as possible for the Arcade’s adopted charity the Alan Shearer Foundation.

The waxing will take place outside Marks & Spencer and New Look and will begin at 2pm on Saturday afternoon when each Beadle will take their turn to take part in the challenge and have their legs completely waxed.

Jenny Clark, owner of Pinkys said, ‘We were delighted when the Beadles approached us to take part in this event.

“Over the years we have built up a great relationship with the Beadles and we are looking forward to this fun and very worthwhile event on Saturday.”

Medi Parry, Centre Manager at Sanderson Arcade said, ‘Each year we make every effort to fundraise as much money as possible for local charities and I am very proud of the Beadles for not only taking part but organising the event.

“They’re feeling pretty nervous about it already so they’ll definitely be grateful for some support on the day.”
