Final call for Morpeth Food Festival Traders!

 

The deadline is fast approaching for foodie traders who would like to be involved in this year’s  Morpeth Food and Drink Festival which is due to take place on October 3rd 2015.

 

July 31st is the booking deadline for all of those wanting to exhibit at the third annual festival held in Morpeth town centre. 

 

There are two options this year for those wanting to take a stall at the popular foodie event. Traders can either take a stall in the Town Hall, or for the first time traders can also book a pitch on Bridge Street  in the heart of the town where the road will be closed to traffic for the day.  

 

The road closure means that people can really enjoy the event across the whole town with street performers, entertainment, music and seating areas. 

 

The Farmers’ market will also be on that same day with over 25 local producers and this will be where the ever popular demonstration kitchen will be with local chefs cooking up some delicious dishes every hour throughout the day. 

 

Zoe Christopher, Graduate Trainee Assistant Manager from Sanderson Arcade said ‘Bookings are coming in fast for the festival so we really don’t want great local producers missing out on a spot. It’s not long to go now until the event and we are all really excited about the new location of the stalls, it’s going to create a great atmosphere!’
