Get barbecue ready with this month's Morpeth Farmers' Market

The monthly Morpeth Farmers’ Market this month falls on Saturday June 3rd and the theme is the great British BBQ.

Morpeth Farmers' market is home to a collection of tasty foodie traders with ideal unique products for a summer BBQ. The include the famous Geordie Bangers Company who produce hand crafted sausages with a twist. Some of their new products include: Gin & Lemon Sausages, ‘Geordio Chorizo’ and the Geordie Burger.

The market is also home to Ridleys fresh fish and game, Mirvesi spices and MoorehouseFarm meats.

The market also welcomes a new trader to the June farmers' market ‘The Mad Jam Woman’ selling delicious homemade jams and chutneys. Perfect for adding a bit more flavour to those tasty BBQ burgers and sausages.

Lottie Thompson, Assistant Centre Manager at Sanderson Arcade said: “Morpeth Farmers' Market is the perfect place to pick up some BBQ essentials. Everything is very high quality and fresh, all we need now is some sunshine to enjoy BBQ season."

Morpeth Market is managed by Northumberland County Council and Sanderson Arcade, working in partnership with Morpeth Town Council, Morpeth and District Chamber of Trade and other local organisations through the Morpeth market working group.

The weekly Wednesday Market and The Farmers’ Market both run from 9am to 3pm on Morpeth Marketplace.
