Morpeth Farmers market goes sweet for World Chocolate Day!

July’s Morpeth Farmer’s Market is packed with plenty of delicious chocolate
and sweet treats this weekend.
The monthy market will be hosting traders such as Kenspeccle, selling truly indulgent treats as well as the French master chocolatiers Cocoaecosse, offering unique sweet chocolate creations. Including chocolate slabs filled with honeycomb, coffee and orange.
They
will be joined by a packed line up of more than 20 local traders with lots of
tasty local produce including sausages, and cheese as well as local craft
stalls.
From 11am the market will also welcome local musician Holly Rees who will be performing
acoustically.
Assistant
Centre Manager Lottie Thompson said: “This month’s Farmer’s Market is the
perfect place to taste some really delicious chocolate treats as well as lots
of other yummy local products.”
Also
don’t forget that you will be able to see and taste a fantastic line up of
foodie traders and local produce at the annual Morpeth Food and Drink Festival
on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th October 2017.
Morpeth
Market is managed by Northumberland County Council and Sanderson Arcade,
working in partnership with Morpeth Town Council, Morpeth and District Chamber
of Trade and other local organisations through the Morpeth Market working
group.
The Morpeth Market is held every
Wednesday from 9am – 3pm and the Farmer's Market is the first Saturday of every
month.
