Morpeth Farmers' Market returns this Saturday

The popular Morpeth Farmers' Market it set to return on Saturday 4th March from 9am-3pm.

The March Farmers' Market will see the return of favourites like Geordie Bangers and Ridleys Fish stall alongside new addition “Cheese Sir” which sells hot raclette dishes to go.

Curry Rolls will also make a return to offer a delicious selection of hot food to eat on the go.

Jasmine will join the Market this month offering a selection of gluten free food ensuring there is something for everyone!

There will be plenty of sweet treats from The Honey Store, Coccoaecosse chocolate stall and Kenspeckle fudge stall.

Shoppers will also be able to enjoy entertainment throughout the day from mother and son violin duo Sarah and Sam Cardnell.

Assistant Centre Manager Filipa Conceicao said: “We are excited for the next Farmers Market which will see the return of popular regular traders as well as some new faces.

“Come down and grab some hot food, local fresh produce, great gift ideas and enjoy the entertainment from the violinist buskers!”

Morpeth Market is managed by Northumberland County Council and Sanderson Arcade, working in partnership with Morpeth Town Council, Morpeth and District Chamber of Trade and other local organisations through the Morpeth Market working group.

The Morpeth Market is held every Wednesday from 9am – 3pm and the Farmer's Market is the first Saturday of every month.
