Shortlist announced as Sanderson Arcade prepares for a special award ceremony

The team at Sanderson Arcade are preparing for a special 5th anniversary awards ceremony next month – and the judges have just announced their final shortlist.

Businesses at the Morpeth shopping centre have submitted their applications for five categories this year and they’ll find out who the winners are at the special gala awards evening due to take place at Barluga on October 22nd.

The awards are sponsored by Cookswell Citroen – they’re organised to recognise and reward good practice and great customer service – this year’s event comes just before the centre marks its 5th anniversary.

As well as the five categories that teams and individuals can be nominated for, there’s also a Retailer of the Year Award which is open to a public vote. This year there’s also an anniversary award for a team or individual making a special contribution to the Arcade over the last five years.

Online voting for Retailer of the Year is open until October 20th – but the shortlist for five other categories has been announced. The shortlist is:

Two new categories have been introduced this year – Young Achiever and Independent Retailer of the Year. To vote for your Retailer of the Year, Sponsored by Design Two, visit the Sanderson Arcade website at www.sandersonarcade.co.uk

All voters in the Retailer of the Year category are automatically entered into a free prize draw with the chance to win £50 shopping vouchers. Voting lines are open until noon on October 22nd.
