Winter Warmers at this week’s Morpeth Farmers Market

It’s Farmers’ Market in Morpeth this Saturday (November 1st) and there are some cracking winter warmers on offer just in time for Bonfire Night.

Warm winter comfort food is the theme of this month’s market and there a delicious array of local produce available this weekend.

Whether you are spending Bonfire Night it at home or at a display the Farmers’ Market has something to keep you warm on the chilly November nights.

Farmers’ Market regular Gingersnaps will have a delicious selection of pies - perfect for traditional pie and peas - as well as some warming fresh soups and you can also pick up fresh peas from the fruit and vegetable stall.

Toffee apples as well as delicious array of seasonal fruit and vegetables will be available and Geordie Bangers have also brought out a delicious new range of sausages especially for Bonfire Night –made from apple, pork and toffee they’re designed to look like a Catherine Wheel - perfect for both kids and adults! 

With other market regulars including Northumberland Poultry and Jimmy the Lamb man as well as VIP Brewery and the Fudge Parlour, there really is everything you need for your Bonfire Night to go with a bang!

Morpeth Market is managed by Northumberland County Council and Sanderson Arcade, working in partnership with Morpeth Town Council, Morpeth and District Chamber of Trade and other local organisations through the Morpeth market working group.
