Hours: 32 Hours per week (4 Days per week)
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our facilities team at Sanderson Arcade. The successful candidate will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks across public areas, including bus station, toilets, entrances, and back-of-house areas.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively (e.g., floor scrubbers, vacuums).
- Empty bins and manage waste disposal in line with recycling procedures.
- Respond promptly to cleaning emergencies such as spills.
- Replenish consumables (toilet rolls, soap, hand towels, etc.).
- Follow all health and safety and COSHH regulations.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential (training provided).
- Must be able to start shift onsite at 6am.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management and attention to detail.
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks including setting up the market
- Friendly and professional attitude.
