Arcade Celebrates Summer!

Sanderson Arcade’s gallery display is this month celebrating the great British getaway as thoughts turn to summer holidays.

100 paper aeroplanes have been installed along the glazed gallery of the Morpeth shopping centre making a stunning and colourful display for shoppers and visitors.

Each month a different theme is chosen for an eye-catching display along the gallery to reflect the seasons or special events in the town.

The summer holiday theme replaces the Fashion Week display which was featured during June.

Centre Manager of Sanderson Arcade Joel Plumley said: “The new paper airplane display is my absolute favourite so far this year. It’s great seeing customers looking up and take photos and really appreciating the display.”

During June the Arcade will also be hosting its first Summer Sounds event in which the centre team invite a host of local performers to entertain shoppers in the Arcade every weekend throughout the summer months.

Summer Sounds start Friday 21st June and runs until Sunday 1st September.
