Quiz Night Raises Cash For Arcade's Charity

Teams from the businesses at Sanderson Arcade took part in a special Pub Quiz on Friday 1st March to help raise money for Cleaswell Hill School, which is the centre’s chosen charity for 2019.

The event was held at Barluga and teams were challenged on various topics - including a round of questions about Sanderson Arcade which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year.

More than 60 members of staff from various stores attended the fundraiser including teams from Vodafone, Whittakers Jewellers, Fatface, Clarks, The Morpeth Larder, O2, Bodyshop and Pol Kefton.

The evening raised £500 which will go towards the Arcades £5000 target for the year to fund a special outdoor swing.

Cleaswell Hill is a day community special school for 174 children ranging in age from 2 – 19 years old. Equipment such as the swing will help the children of Cleaswell Hill to develop many skills whilst having fun.

Sanderson Arcade Centre Manager Joel Plumley said “We had a fantastic evening whilst also raising lots of money for such a great local charity!”
