Children’s author Janey Louise Jones visits Waterstones in Morpeth
23 July 2019
The team at Waterstones in Morpeth will welcome the Scottish
children’s author, Janey Louise Jones this Saturday as she reads her poignant
new Princess Poppy book “Please, Please Save the Bees.”
The book was released in February this year and is part of the popular Princess
Poppy series which has sold over 6 million copies.
“Please, Please Save the Bees” sees a rebrand of the classic Princess Poppy
books and the popular character dealing with eco-friendly issues – it also helps
to educate children about how to nurture our environment and specifically help
the bees.
The author will be at the Sanderson Arcade Waterstones store on Saturday 27th
July from 1pm to 3pm. Following on from a
reading there will also be the chance to enjoy some fab activities which are
aimed at reminding everyone how important the humble bee is to our environment.
Waterstones Morpeth also continues to hold “Summer Story
Time for Tots” from Monday to Saturday,
10:30am – 10:45am with a different theme of storytelling every week. In line
with Janey Louise Jones visit the theme for the coming week is Nature ( from Saturday
27th July – Friday 2nd August).
