Farmerís Market Kicks Off Summer of Fun

The August Morpeth Farmerís Market will be held on Saturday (August 5th) and marks the start of National Family Fun Month. 

The market will host more than 15 stalls with everything from locally made cheese to artisan breads and tasty cakes.

The summer market will have lots of ideas for hampers, picnics and barbecues with tasty treats for everyone.

Traders include some popular favourites including Geordie Bangers, Ridleys Fish, Churnhills Farmhouse as well as many more.

For the six weeks of the summer holidays, Morpeth weekly market which is held every Wednesday will also include musical performances from the likes of Aaron Wiggett, Callum Kewen and David Stoker.

Traders include Benny and his Toon Macaroons, Aileen from Murphyís Kitchen with her tasty cakes and pies and Julian with his fresh fruit and veg.

The Morpeth Market is held every Wednesday from 9am Ė 3pm and the Farmer's Market is the first Saturday of every month.

Also donít forget that you will be able to see and taste a fantastic line up of foodie traders and local produce at the annual Morpeth Food and Drink Festival which will be held on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th October 2017.

Morpeth Market is managed by Northumberland County Council and Sanderson Arcade, working in partnership with Morpeth Town Council, Morpeth and District Chamber of Trade and other local organisations through the Morpeth Market working group.
