Global shoe brand Rieker officially opens at Sanderson Arcade with special offer
11 November 2024
Global shoe brand Rieker – which specialises in fashionable and functional footwear – has officially opened a new store at Sanderson Arcade.
The store opened its doors to the public for the first time on
Monday morning and shoppers are in for a real treat this week to coincide with
the launch.
Customers visiting between November 12 and 15 will receive 15% off
all Rieker-branded footwear and handbags.
Paul Isaacs, Retail Operations Manager at Rieker, said: “The
shop fit looks fantastic, and my team has worked hard to stock and merchandise
the store in preparation for welcoming customers.
“We already have 140 customers signed up for the offers and
benefits available through our VIP scheme, so come and find out how you can
join!
“We were overwhelmed with customers wanting to enter the store
over the weekend while we were setting up, and it was a pleasure to talk to so
many enthusiastic and loyal Rieker customers.
“I also want to mention that Sanderson Arcade looks incredibly
festive and happy 15th birthday to the Arcade! I'm excited to bring our brand
to this amazing town.”
Lottie Thompson, Centre Manager at Sanderson Arcade, said: “It is
great for the centre to land such a big name and I am sure our shoppers will
love their excellent range of shoes and accessories.”
Rieker is steeped in history having been founded in the Black Forest region of
southern Germany 150 years ago in 1874 and has been family owned for five generations.
The retailer designs and produces almost all of its range, which
includes fashion shoes and footwear for outdoor activities for men and women.
The company also created its own footwear technology (Rieker
Antistress) to help improve shoe support, flexibility and durability.
The store will be open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5.30pm, and
Sundays between 10.30am and 4.30pm.
Rieker is the latest high-profile brand to join the retail line-up
at Sanderson Arcade following the opening of stores by Oliver Bonas, The White
Company and The Works earlier this year.
The centre is also home to a host of other premium brands
including Mint Velvet, Phase Eight and Hobbs.
Sanderson Arcade was developed by Yorkshire based regeneration
specialists, Dransfield Properties, in 2009.
Still owned and managed by the company the team have brought a
great mix of more than 40 well known high street and quality independent shops,
cafes and restaurants to this part of Northumberland.
