Indoor dining to resume at Sanderson Arcade's cafes and restaurant

Restaurants and Cafés at Sanderson Arcade in Morpeth are gearing up to welcome diners back indoors following the easing of restrictions from Monday 17th May.

Barluga, Central Bean, The Morpeth Larder and M&S Cafe will all reopen their indoor dining areas from next week after four months of closure due to the latest government lockdown.

The Morpeth Larder and Central Bean will reopen their indoor coffee shops on Monday 17th May from 9am, with no booking required and the option of alfresco dining still available.

The M&S Café will also reopen on Monday, relaunching with a new Single Origin Columbian Coffee for shoppers to enjoy along with their breakfast and lunch food menu.

Barluga restaurant and bar will reopen on Wednesday 19th May for the first time since October 2020 serving their much-loved menu of modern British cuisine along with an extensive wine list and range of exciting cocktails for diners and drinkers alike.

On Monday 10th May the government announced that their roadmap for reopening more businesses and the further easing of restrictions was on track which is welcome news for the Management team at Sanderson Arcade.

Centre Manager of Sanderson Arcade, Lottie Thompson said: “The latest easing of restrictions is fantastic news for the cafes and restaurants here at Sanderson Arcade who are now all preparing to welcome back indoor diners in a safe and secure setting.

“Barluga, Central Bean, Morpeth Larder and the M&S Cafe have all either been closed or have been unable to operate properly for such a long time now and it will be great to see local people back out supporting their local food operators!

“As a centre, we are delighted to have our full offering back for shoppers to enjoy and be able spend the whole day here, with plenty of fashion, health and beauty, homeware, jewellery, gift, and grocery stores along with our fabulous eateries”.
