Jobs Fair at Morpeth’s Sanderson Arcade Development

Morpeth’s new retail and office development, Sanderson Arcade is hosting a Jobs Fair this month aimed at giving people the chance to find out about some of the great career opportunities available.
The £32 million town centre development in Northumberland has already attracted major High Street names including M&S, New Look, Lakeland, Body Shop and Clarks who will all be taking part in the Jobs Fair to find the right staff for their new stores.
Positions range from security staff to hair stylists as well as cleaners and retail staff at the new town centre arcade. The development will create around 250 new jobs in the town when it opens in November.
The Jobs Fair will take place at the Comrades Club, on Lumsden Lane in Morpeth on Wednesday July 22nd.
Debbie Anderson, Centre Manager at Sanderson Arcade, said: “We have organised the Jobs Fair to let people know about the opportunities at some of the stores which are opening later this year."
“We are also hoping to hear from people who are interested in the roles we have available at the centre itself, including the Beadles who will play an important part in the development.”
The Beadles, who will be smartly dressed doorman, will act as security guards as well as town centre ambassadors at the development.
The Jobs Fair has been organised to enable people to see the kind of vacancies which are available in an informal setting.
