Jump shoes step up with a new store at Morpeth’s Sanderson Arcade

Independent children’s footwear specialist Jump is opening the company’s second store in the North East with a brand new outlet at Morpeth’s award winning Sanderson Arcade.
Shoe-loving sisters Ruth Lovell and Jo Place opened their first shop on Gosforth High Street in July 2006 after becoming frustrated with the limited range of kid’s shoes available.
And with six children between the ages of three and thirteen between then Ruth and Jo know a thing or two about finding the right shoes for the discerning youngster.
Billed as “The best kids shoe shop in the whole wide world” Jump sells a fantastic range of footwear for both school and weekend wear including Geox, Ricosta, Petasil and Primigi as well as Bobux and Start-rite for those very first baby steps.
The new shop at Sanderson Arcade will stock shoes for babies and children up to 12 years old.
Ruth said: “When we first opened Jump in Gosforth we were really aware that there was a lack of choice for good quality shoes for children. Shoe shopping with children can be frustrating but we want to make it a fun experience in a friendly environment which both the kids and parents can enjoy.
“Our customers are looking for something a little bit different as well as a quality fit and of course excellent customer service. The Arcade is a lovely development and we are really excited to be opening our second store here in Morpeth.”
Sanderson Arcade centre manager, Debbie Anderson said: “Jump is a great local, independent retailer with a really fabulous range of children’s shoes in a fun and funky environment – we can’t wait to see the new store when it opens at the Arcade later in the summer.”
Jump is opening in unit next to Lemon and Vision Express. The new store will be opening in late July.
