Mini Farmers’ Market comes to Morpeth this weekend

30 June 2020

A mini version of the monthly Morpeth Farmers’ Market is coming to the town this weekend (Saturday 4th July).

The Farmers’ Market has not taken place in the town since March due to the lock down, but this weekend some of the regions very best Market traders will back in the town, selling their goods in the Market Place.

Murphy's kitchen, Moorehouse farm, Bread and Roses, The Honey store and Northern Ark are all confirmed to join the mini Farmers’ Market from 9am-3pm this weekend.

Elsewhere in the town, more retailers will begin to reopen their doors this week due to new government guidance. The team at Sanderson Arcade will welcome back the Morpeth Larder on Wednesday 1st July and Mint Velvet on Thursday 2nd July.

Joel Plumley from the Sanderson Arcade Management Team said: “We are looking forward to a really exciting weekend as we welcome some of our Farmers’ Market Traders back to the town along with more of our retailers in the Arcade!”.

Morpeth Market is managed by Northumberland County Council and Sanderson Arcade, working in partnership with Morpeth Town Council and other local organisations through the Morpeth Market working group.
