Monthly Farmers’ Market to tie in with 51st Morpeth Gathering

The Morpeth Farmers’ Market returns this Saturday (7th April), 9am-3pm with a special celebratory theme to tie in with the 51st Morpeth Gathering taking place on the same day.

25 traders are confirmed to join this month’s market which includes familiar faces such as Geordie Bangers, Ridley’s fish, Northumberland Cheese and the award-winning Mad Jam Lady.

There will also be unique gift stalls with jewellery from the Silver Room and fresh flowers from Ginger House Garden.

There will be traditional entertainment in the Market area from a Punch and Judy show Ellington Colliery Band, Time Bandits, Sheffield City Giants, Ran Tanners and Astral Circus.

Sanderson Arcade Centre Manager Joel Plumley said “We can’t wait to celebrate the 51st Morpeth Gathering and join in with this fantastic town-wide event!”

“We have lots of great, local traders lined up so come down and pick up fresh produce and quirky gift ideas”.
