Morpeth Farmers Market Returns This Saturday!

1 July 2019

The Morpeth Farmers’ Market returns to the town this Saturday 6th July with a line-up of new traders and some familiar faces.

The monthly market will welcome back Geordie Bangers, The Sauce Queen, Moorehouse Farm, Ridley’s Fish & Game, Castle Bakery, Northern Ark Nursery and The Honey Store.

The July Farmers’ Market will also welcome three new traders; Cashaway Teashop selling freshly made pies and cakes, Yummy Things with their hand-made tasty jams and chutneys and Philippa Hodkinson, the market’s new florist, selling cut flowers!

Shoppers can also enjoy live music from local band Aimed Red from 11am.

The Morpeth Farmer's Market is held on the first Saturday of every month and the weekly Market takes place every Wednesday from 9am – 3pm.

Sanderson Arcade Centre Manager Joel Plumley said: “We are looking forward to the return of our monthly Farmers’ Market this weekend with lots of fantastic local traders joining us, and some great live music to enjoy too!”

This year’s annual Morpeth Food & Drink Festival has been confirmed to take place on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th October 2019. The festival is now over 60% full with limited trader spaces left.

If you wish to trade at this year’s festival, trader application forms can be downloaded from  or the More in Morpeth website

Morpeth Market is managed by Northumberland County Council and Sanderson Arcade, working in partnership with Morpeth Town Council, Morpeth and District Chamber of Trade and other local organisations through the Morpeth Market working group.
