Morpeth Farmers’ market returns this weekend

Morpeth’s monthly Farmers Market Returns this Saturday (1st February) with a host of local traders from across Northumberland and the North East.

 

From 9am-3pm expect to see local, fresh produce in the market area from Murphy’s Kitchen, Ridleys Fish & Game, Castle Bakery, The Honey Store and many more.

 

Northern Ark plants and Timefreezer Photography will also be attending the Farmers’ Market bringing unique gifts perfect for Valentine’s Day. 

 

Sanderson Arcade Centre Manager Joel Plumley said: “We are looking forward to holding the first Farmers’ Market of the year this weekend with a fantastic line up of quality local traders attending.”

 

The Morpeth Market is held every Wednesday from 9am – 3pm and the Farmer's Market is held on the first Saturday of every month.

 

Morpeth Market is managed by Northumberland County Council and Sanderson Arcade, working in partnership with Morpeth Town Council, Morpeth and District Chamber of Trade and other local organisations through the Morpeth Market working group.

 

This year’s annual Morpeth Food & Drink Festival has been confirmed to take place on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th October 2019. Trader application forms for this year’s Morpeth Food and Drink Festival will be available to download from Friday 31st January from www.sandersonarcade.co.uk and www.moreinmorpeth.co.uk .
