Morpeth Farmers’ Market returns this weekend

1 March 2021

The first weekend of spring is coming up, coinciding with the return of Morpeth’s monthly Farmers' Market.!

The Farmers' Market is taking place this Saturday (6th March), offering a range of fresh local produce for essential shopping.

From 9am-3pm shoppers can pick up delicious food items including locally produced honey from The Honey Store, fresh fish and game from Ridleys, cakes and bakes from Bake for the Soul, locally brewed beer from Muckle Brewing, homemade pies from Murphy’s Kitchen, artisan bread from Bread and Roses and much more.

Greek street food trader PhiPie will be returning to this month’s Farmers’ Market for an exciting food-to-go option. To enjoy delicious Greek street food this Saturday please pre-order online at the PhiPie website - www.phipie.co.uk

Sanderson Arcade’s Centre Manager, Lottie Thompson said: “Our Monthly Farmers’ Market is a great way for local people to support their independent traders whilst shopping for their essentials, and PhiPie attending makes for a yummy weekend treat!”.

Essential traders will be trading as normal and customers are encouraged to shop the market alone and efficiently. A one-way system will be in place and hand sanitiser available upon entry. It is also encouraged that all customers wear face coverings and pay contactless where they can.

Morpeth Market is managed by Northumberland County Council and Sanderson Arcade, working in partnership with Morpeth Town Council.
