Morpeth Food and Drink Festival Live Music Stage Line up Announced

This year’s Food and Drink Festival in Morpeth is set to showcase a range of local talent on the live music stage which will be located at the end of Bridge Street.

On Saturday 6th (10am-6pm) and Sunday 7th October (11am-5pm), 14 fantastic live acts will take to the stage including Dead Man’s Shoes and The Violet Bunnies.

The stage will be placed right next to the Street Food Quarter and the Posh Pen which is the perfect location to enjoy fantastic live entertainment with a drink in hand and delicious food to go!

Early attendees on the Saturday will have the chance to see the winners of this year’s Morpeth’s Got Talent perform as well as the fantastic Northern Rail Collection and Matt Dunbar.

The afternoon will see many more wonderful performances from Tenth Avenue, Voice of the Town, and Bernicia, with the Saturday music stage closing with the brilliant band, Growing Robots at 5pm.

The second day of live music will kick off at 11am with David Stoker opening the final day of the Food and Drink festival followed by superb performers such as Paul Jeans, Rhiannon Soulsby and Sam Gibson

Paige Temperley will be the final act of the Food Festival and will draw the event to a close at 4pm on Sunday 7th October.

Centre Manager of Sanderson Arcade, Joel Plumley said “we are delighted to see the return of the live music stage at this year’s festival and we can’t wait to see all the fantastic local acts perform, including the winners of our Morpeth's Got Talent competition!”
