Morpeth Monthly Farmers Market Returns This Saturday

Morpeth’s monthly farmers market returns this Saturday offering a range of fresh local produce for essential shopping.

From 9am-3pm shoppers can pick up fresh coffee from Luckie Beans, jam and chutneys from Yummy Things, locally brewed beer from Muckle Brewing, homemade pies from Murphy’s Kitchen, artisan bread from Bread and Roses and much more. 

New trader to the market, PhiPie, will be offering pre-ordered Greek street food-to-go. To pre-order please head to PhiPie website

Essential traders will be trading as normal and customers are encouraged to shop the market alone and efficiently. A one-way system will be in place and hand sanitiser available upon entry. It is also encouraged that all customers wear face coverings and pay contactless where they can. 

Centre Manager of Sanderson Arcade, Lottie Thompson said: “The Farmers’ and weekly Markets are a great way for local people to shop for essentials in a safe, outdoor environment whilst supporting their local traders.

“We have strict measures in place to ensure safety of our visitors, staff and traders including a one-way system, hand sanitising stations and contactless payment methods”. 

The weekly Wednesday market has continued to operate with essential traders only throughout January and will continue through February.
