Morpeth's Farmers Market Returns This Weekend!

The monthly Morpeth Farmers’ Market returns this Saturday, 3rd August, with a fantastic line up of local traders and entertainment. 

This month’s Farmers’ Market will welcome host of local traders such as Geordie Bangers, Bread and Roses and Murphy’s Kitchen.  

Soul singer Lou Coel singing will be entertaining shoppers from 11am – 1pm, plus enjoy kids’ entertainment with a Punch and Judy show as part of the six weeks of summer entertainment at Morpeth Market. 

The traders at Saturday’s market will also include Ridley’s Fish & Game, Castle Bakery and The Honey Store. 

The Morpeth weekly Market is held every Wednesday from 9am – 3pm and the Farmer's Market takes place on the first Saturday of every month.

Sanderson Arcade Centre Manager Joel Plumley said: “We are excited for the first Farmers’ Market of the summer holidays, with a line up of fantastic local traders and some great entertainment as part of our six weeks of summer fun here at the Arcade!”

This year’s annual Morpeth Food & Drink Festival is in the final stages of planning, with only a month left to book for traders. Trader application forms for this year’s Morpeth Food and Drink Festival are n available to download from the Sanderson Arcade website https://www.sandersonarcade.co.uk/events/morpeth-food-and-drink-festival-2019  

The deadline for trader bookings at this year’s festival is be Saturday 31st August 2019. 

New to this year’s festival is the Vegan Hall situated in Morpeth Town Hall and filled with local vegan traders. The festival holds over 100 food and drink traders and attracts thousands to Morpeth Town Centre. 

The Morpeth Food and Drink Festival takes place Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th October 2019. 

Morpeth Market is managed by Northumberland County Council and Sanderson Arcade, working in partnership with Morpeth Town Council, Morpeth and District Chamber of Trade and other local organisations through the Morpeth Market working group.
