Food lovers – save the date! Thursday 13th November 2025 at 12pm is set to be one of the busiest days of the year at Sanderson Arcade, as the legendary chef, author, and broadcaster Rick Stein returns to Waterstones Morpeth for an exclusive book signing.
The Arcade team are thrilled to welcome Rick back to Morpeth as he launches his brand-new festive cookbook, Rick Stein’s Christmas, published by BBC Books.
The special signing event is expected to draw big crowds as fans gather for the chance to meet one of Britain’s most-loved chefs in person.
Rick Stein’s Christmas is Rick’s very first dedicated festive cookbook – packed with more than 100 recipes, it’s full of inspiration for the holiday season. From indulgent roast goose and glazed ham to mince pies and clever ways to transform leftovers, Rick also weaves in his own treasured memories of family, food, and Christmas traditions.
Rick’s previous visit to Sanderson Arcade in 2023 proved just how popular he is with local fans. Hundreds of copies of his cookbook Simple Suppers flew off the shelves, with visitors braving long queues in the cold for the chance to meet him.
From dedicated superfans bringing cookbooks signed decades earlier, to families introducing the next generation of food lovers, the signing created a real buzz in the town – with queues stretching out into the Arcade.
