Royal reception for Morpeth’s new Phase Eight store

The popular British womenswear clothing brand Phase Eight opened their brand new Morpeth store in Sanderson Arcade yesterday (Thursday 5th December).

The ribbon was cut by the Duchess of Northumberland as shoppers queued from early morning to be the first to experience the new concept Phase Eight store.

The first 50 lucky customers through the door received complementary gift bags, fizz and free gift cards to spend in store – worth up to £100.

The 2,120 sq. ft. store is part of the company’s new retail concept which features more space to shop and a modern, minimalist design to create a relaxing shopping experience.

The new Morpeth Store also features bi-folding wardrobe space in the fitting rooms to create a space for Personal Shopping appointments.

Founded in London in 1979 by Patsy Seddon, Phase Eight have built a reputation as a premium, contemporary brand for all occasions. From dresses and accessories to daywear and bridal, Phase Eight styles make women feel as amazing as they look.

The new Morpeth Phase Eight store will sit’s next door to JoJo Maman Bébé and Mountain Warehouse in the piazza area of Sanderson Arcade, complimenting the wide range of ladieswear already available on the centre which includes Hobbs and Mint Velvet. 

Centre Manager of Sanderson Arcade, Joel Plumley said: “We were delighted to welcome the Duchess to the opening of our new Phase Eight store yesterday!

“Phase Eight is the perfect addition to our existing line up of ladies fashion retailers and we are confident they will prove popular with our shoppers”.
