Sanderson Arcade Father’s Day Competition Winners Announced!

The team at Sanderson Arcade have announced the TOP TEN winners of their big Father’s Day competition - searching for the top ten Dad’s in the North East.

Shoppers were asked to write down why their Dad is a “10 out of 10 Father’” – 10 special men were selected out of the hundreds of entries received as part of the celebration of Sanderson Arcade’s 10th birthday this year.

The lucky competition winners were all treated to a £20 gift voucher to an Arcade retailer of their choice.

Centre Manager Joel Plumley said: “We absolutely loved looking through all of the fantastic entries and it was just great to be able to treat 10 Dads this Father’s Day.”

Top Ten Dads Include:

Mark Ridley nominated by his son Grant.: “Having just moved into my first house here in Morpeth, my Dad has been amazing in helping make my house a home!”

Tom Bradshaw nominated by his daughter Jane :“My Dad is 85 years young and I am still his “little girl”

David Robson nominated by his son Oliver: “My Dad is the best because I waited so long for my Daddy – I love him so much”

Alistair Dandie nominated by his daughter Ellie: “My Dad is the best because he is annoying but I still love him”

Ross Young nominated by his son Callum: “He teaches me keepy ups”.

Keith Garlick nominated by his daughter April and son Austin : “He makes the best scrambled eggs, Daddy G you are my hero!”

Peter Lake nominated by his daughter Maddie: “The only man that hasn’t broken my heart and has taught me everything”

Kevin Amber nominated by his daughter Kara: “He is a cool dude who looks like a LA surfer in his shorts even when it’s freezing and he gives the best hugs”

Leigh Blackhall nominated by his daughter Courtney: “My Daddy is the best because he loves me so much and takes me swimming and to the park, he tells the best bedtime stories”

Simon Clements nominated by his daughter Emma: “He has been with us through all we have been through, he is the absolute best”.
