Spring Farmers Market This Weekend

The monthly Morpeth Farmers’ Market returns this Saturday, 6th April with a fantastic line up of local traders.

This month’s line-up includes The Mad Jam Woman, Churnhills Kitchen, Mazzeh Spice, Bella B Dog Treats, Castle Bakery, Geordie Bangers and many more.

This month will also see the return of local florists, Ginger House Garden who grow and harvest flowers on their farm in Horncliffe, Berwick and are a Morpeth Farmers Market regular from April – October.

The April Farmers Market will also feature street food from Geordie Bangers and Hadrian’s Game, for food on the go while you are shopping.

Sanderson Arcade’s Centre Manager Joel Plumley said: “We have lots of fantastic traders joining us for the first Farmers’ Market of spring, including delicious food-to-go stalls!”

Morpeth Market is managed by Northumberland County Council and Sanderson Arcade, working in partnership with Morpeth Town Council, Morpeth and District Chamber of Trade and other local organisations through the Morpeth Market working group.

The Morpeth Market is held every Wednesday from 9am – 3pm and the Farmer's Market is the first Saturday of every month.

This year’s annual Morpeth Food & Drink Festival has been confirmed to take place on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th October 2019. Trader application forms for this year’s Morpeth Food and Drink Festival are now available to download from both the Sanderson Arcade and More in Morpeth website.
