The Corbridge Larder launches nostalgic afternoon “tea for two” menu at Sanderson Arcade

                                                                                                                                                                                  Shoppers at Morpeth’s Sanderson Arcade can now while away the sunny afternoons with a delicious tea for two at the popular The Corbridge Larder.

 
The coffee shop and delicatessen has introduced the new menu for spring and summer and customers will be treated to a mouthwatering choice of sandwiches, scones, cakes and biscuits – all served with top quality tea.
 
Tea for two costs £15 and is available all day - a tea for one option is available for £7.95. 
 
Dave Robinson, from The Corbridge Larder said: “I think there is definitely a bit of a return to the lovely British tradition of afternoon tea and it’s something a few of our customers have been asking us for. 
 
“We’re really pleased with the menu we’ve put together, all served on a beautiful tiered cake stand of course - and we hope our customers will be too.”
 
The Corbridge Larder, which can be found opposite M&S and next to the bus station at Sanderson Arcade, is one of the region’s leading delicatessens. All the delicious products used in the café can also be bought in store.
 
Medi Parry, Centre Manager at Sanderson Arcade, said: “It’s really nice to see the tables and chairs coming out for our visitors and shoppers this time of year and a proper, traditional afternoon tea at The Corbridge Larder is a lovely treat.”
