The Morpeth Larderís Alfresco Dining Area Now Open for Spring and Summer!

17 April 2018

The popular deli and cafe The Morpeth Larder in Sanderson Arcade has re-opened its alfresco dining area this week.

The tranquil terrace area is made up of around 36 seats, umbrellas and gorgeous planting, making it the ideal spot to sit and enjoy a coffee in the summer sun.

The outdoor terrace will be open from now until November, just in time for the new delicious menu which now includes Northumberland Nettle Cheese toasties and leek and mushroom tart.

The new menu also introduces clearer allergen labelling and has a range of gluten free and vegan options for customers.

The Morpeth Larder also offers a wide range of tasty traditional items from fresh scones to their famous traditional Afternoon Tea.

One of the Larderís main goals is to sell and support as many local Northern food producers as possible. The store offers a huge range of products from the North East and further afield.

Dave Robinson, the owner of the Morpeth Larder said ďItís been a long winter and it is fantastic to see the back of the bad weather and to re-launch our lovely outdoor seating area Ė weíve got our fingers crossed for some fabulous weather.

ďThe timing could not be better as we are also launching our new menu options which are perfect for the spring and summer months!Ē

Sanderson Arcade Centre Manager Joel Plumley said:  ďIt will be great to see our customers enjoying the warmer weather once again in the Morpeth Larderís outdoor terrace- we canít wait to try the new menu, too!Ē
