Young artists invited to celebrate Father’s Day with Sanderson Arcade’s ‘Draw Your Dad’ competition

Youngsters in Morpeth are being invited to get creative this Father’s Day as Sanderson Arcade launches its ‘Draw Your Dad’ competition.

As part of the centre’s Father’s Day celebrations, children are being encouraged to draw a portrait of their dad, grandad or father figure, alongside a short message explaining what makes them so special.

The competition shines a spotlight on the dads and father figures of Morpeth, giving local children the chance to say a big thank you for everything they do.

One lucky youngster will win a £20 gift voucher for The Works, giving them the perfect opportunity to treat their dad this Father’s Day.

Children wishing to take part can pick up an entry sheet from The Works at Sanderson Arcade. Completed entries must then be returned to the same store by Saturday, June 20th. The winner will be announced on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 21st.

All entries must include the child’s name, age and a parental contact telephone number. Entries will be judged by the centre management team and displayed at Sanderson Arcade.
